I stopped by Ulta about a week ago, after I got done at the drs. I stopped by because I had the girls with me and they wanted to go to Ulta, and I thought why not I need more self tanner. I picked up a couple of other things I wanted. 

St Tropez Ultimate Glow Kit by Ashley Graham- It comes with their whipped cream mousse and limited edition mitt. It tested it out my leg earlier today, I liked how fast it absorbed and it smells like coconut. The mitt is nice but Im not much for mitts I just use my hands, then wash my hands well after applying. Its 55 USD. 

Nyx This is milky gloss in Foo- Moo which is a sheer blue and it does go on sheer and its not sticky.  It is also a very glossy finish. Its 8.50 USD. 

Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip in rose- They had some of these in bin near the self tanning stuff on sale for 15 USD, I picked up one. The color is similar to my natural lip color so its not to much. Its something I can wear to church or to the office. It smells like coconuts which I like. 

Lastly I picked some Roc Retional Correxion Night serum Capsules. I got the small one with like 10 capsules. I just wanted to try it and see if I might like it. 

So these are things I picked up from Ulta, I know the self tanner is bit on the pricy side but I know the St Tropez ones are normally really good.

Its August now, where does the time go. People where I live refer to August as the dog days of summer. It is time to remember to wear sunscreen because the sun is out. I wear a lot of sunscreen now that Im older, I am looking to reduce aging as much as possible. My father had skin cancer when I was in highschool so that is another factor that plays into me wearing so much sunscreen. Here are some of my favorite things for the month of July

Biossance Squalane Rose vegan lip balm- I have the jar version of this lip balm I love it, its a really nice hydrating lip balm it is a thicker lip balm. It contains squalane to help hydrate lips, and it has nice clean scent to it. They dont sell the jar version anymore, they changed the packaging to a squeeze tube which is more hygienic and its only 14 dollars USD. I have used it so much in July half of the jar is gone.

Cosrx advanced snail 92 all in one cream- Snails Im aware that sounds strange, snail slime. Its snail mucin is really hydrating so its great for dry skin. I have used the snail essence from Cosrx and I really liked it. This cream has gel like consistency and it absorbs very easily into the skin. Its also very decently priced, I got for around 18 dollars USD via Amazon.

Dr brandt Prebiotic redness relief cream- I had a mini review of this on my blog last month. I like that the cream helps calm the redness on my face and its cooling to my skin. Its 55 USD at Sephora.

Kora Organics Noni Glow Sleeping Mask- Its a lighweight gel mask that is hydrating, my face feels nice and soft when I wake up in the morning. I really like the scent for this one its nice clean scent. Its 48 USD at Sephora. I did get it on sale on the Kora website I paid about half price for it. I do find when you go to the manufactures websites you can normally can get some type of discount that you cant at Sephora.

Sunless Tanning Water Mousse in Medium/Light Sol Jergens- I already finished the bottle and threw it out. I used this tanner throughout the month of July. Its around 20 dollars at Walgreens thats where I purchased it at. Its very lightweight, absorbs easily, doesnt look streaking, my tan looks natural not orange. I used it every other day, on the off days I used cloud butter by Glory Cloud soaps which these are lovely too.

For Books I have been reading the Artemis Fowl series so its been really good. I finished The Artic Incident, The Eternity Code, and the Opal Deception.

I wanted to share the things I purchased from the anniversary sale, I do shop this sale every year. What makes this sale so special is these items that are for sale are brand new items for the fall season. They everything on sale from makeup, skincare, jewelry, handbags, clothing, and more. I usually get a combination of clothing, jewelry, handbags, and shoes from the sale. Last year I didnt shop the sale Im forget why I didnt. Here are the items I got and the prices. 

Coach Canteen Leather Crossbody bag in Black-  It was 199.90 I think the original price was around 300. Its small nice leather crossbody bag that I will use in the winter.  I have a bigger coach bag in patent black leather that I also use in the winter season but sometimes it gets to heavy. Since I now have younger kids, I find myself just wanting that small bag I can just easily carry it and can focus on my small children. 

Barefoot Dreams Cozy chic waffle cocoon cardigan in storm grey- I got the size extra large my arms are bigger, I feel that xl fits my arms better. I never had a barefoot dreams cardigan, I have heard so much about them. I can see why everyone likes they are super soft and cozy. I can see I am going to get a lot of use out of this during the winter and fall season. It was 88.90 USD 

Sperry Saltwater Faux Fur Lined Boot in black- size 10. The shoes were a little tight on me at the arch of my feet but they will work. Finding shoes for my size feet which is 10 has been an issue most of my life, and I have wide feet. I don’t normally wear heels because they hurt my feet, I mostly wear flats or sandals. I liked that these shoes were lined with fur to help keep my feet warm. These will be nice for the rain because it sure does rain a lot here in Ohio. These were 59.90. USD.

Bauble Bar- I got three pairs of earrings two of them came in a set for 24.90 USD, and the other pair was 24.90. The set of earring was this two bow studs and crystal ear crawlers. I purchased the set because I wanted the bow studs they are so pretty and I didnt have anything like them in my collection. I also purchased the love lock pave earrings, its a heart locket with pave stones outlining the heart. They are just so pretty. 

Lastly I got a pair of purple slippers in faux fur in XL, these were 16.90 so not a bad price at all.

I placed another order a few weeks ago for some items from Biossance, Im a big fan of their line its on the pricy side. I needed more Vitamin C serum, I do go through quite a bit of Vitamin C serum because I have dark spots from acne scaring, especially on my chin area. I hormonal acne due to my past pregnancies in the last three years. I never tried the Vitamin C serum from this brand. Im currently using the Latic Acid Night Resurfacing Night Serum and their squalene rose vegan lip balm. 

I picked up three items that have been on my wish list to try

Squalane Glycolic Renewal Mask- Its supposed to help exfoliate, reduce discoloration, boost skins radiance, and etc. I havent tried it yet but I have seen other reviewers mention that the skin felt very soft after using it. Its 48 USD 

Squalane Phyto- Retinol Serum- Its supposed to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I got this to help reduce the wrinkles in my forehead, and around my eyes. I am getting older every year so Im trying to do as much as I can to care for my skin. This is the next time serum on my list that I work into my nighttime routine. Its 72 USD.

Squalane Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum- This is suppose to help reduce improve dark spots and discoloration on skin. Its 62 USD.
